Introduction

Sara Ali Khan coming from a Pataudi family is an Indian actress working in Bollywood. In a short period, she managed to win the hearts of her followers. Acting runs in Sara Ali Khan's family and she succeeded to take the hierarchy and legacy forward. Early life

Her parents are Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, they both are into films and Bollywood. Sara Ali Khan’s paternal uncle also belonged to Bollywood. Sara Ali Khan has a younger brother named Ibrahim and also a half-brother Taimur. She is a blend of Pashtun and Bengali parentage from her father's side and Punjabi succession from her mother's side. 

When Sara Ali Khan was just nine years old her parents separated and Sara was legally handed to Amrita, her mother. At the initial time, Saif was not allowed to meet the kids but now things are better between them, as per an interview given by Saif Ali Khan. He also adds they are more like best friends than father and daughter. Coming to her relations with her mother, so they share a delightful mother-daughter duo understanding.

Coming to Sara Ali Khan’s education she studied political science at Columbia University. During Sara Ali Khan’s teenage days she was struggling with weight issues but she managed to get in shape with her hard work and dedication. During the teenage days of Sara Ali Khan, she admired Sridevi a lot and she was in total awe of her performance in Sadma and Chandani.

Acting Career

Sara Ali Khan started her acting career with a romantic disaster Bollywood movie ‘Kedarnath’. Sara Ali Khan was starring against Late Sushant Singh Rajpoot. Though this movie had some tough times to get on the screens it was worth all the efforts. At some time, the shooting stopped, and then it got into some trouble because of the plot of the movie. But eventually, when the movie was released it was appreciated by the audience. The movie, though, received mixed reviews from the critics.

The next movie that came into Sara Ali Khan’s plate was Rohit Shetty's action-comedy film Simmba. In this movie, she was starring against Ranveer Singh. This movie emerged as the third highest-grossing Hindi Film of 2018. Giving successfully two hits it attracted more opportunities for the lady. 

Then in 2020, she did a movie 'Love Aaj Kal' starring Kartik Aaryan. This movie was a successor of a movie of the same name released in 2009, this movie starred Sara Ali Khan’s father Saif Ali Khan. This movie received not so good comments from the critics, but Sara Ali Khan didn’t get disheartened by the shortcoming but she managed to work hard.

Filmography

Starting a career with the amazing heart wrenching romantic movie Kedarnath, Sara Ali Khan received a Filmfare Award for Best Debut Female Category. Sara Ali Khan also received IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year- Female for the same role.
