Chhalaang Movie Review:

Indian cinema has worked a lot on sports drama movies and surely they have tried much to bring the enthusiasm and that spirit among audience. Recently one of that similar kind of movie was on the floor directed by Hansal Mehta called Chhalaang.

The story says about a young PT teacher whose life was moving flawlessly in the school, but it turned up in a great way when a new sports teacher was appointed in the school. He was insured for his job and not willing to work as an assistant. He also faced tough competition from a new coach and finally he strived to save his job, love and self-respect.

Talking about the acting of the leading actors in the movie, Rajkummar Rao and Nushrratt Bharuccha both have done well at their roles. Rajkumar Rao is known for some of his great performances and both of them had a good grip on the Haryanvi accent. Zeeshan Ayyub also fits in a real Sports coach role. The other cast like Saurabh Shukla, Ila Arun and Satish Kaushik have supported superbly.

Being related to the concept of rural India and sports, most of the scenes are confined to the sports ground. Nowhere outdoor shooting has been seen from the scenes of the movie. The makes have tried to make it as real it can be. Taking note on the songs, the title track Le Chhalaang is greatly contributed by Daler Mehndi. The other song Deedar de has been taken form movie Dus and has been done well.

A rap song Care Ni Karda had been done by Yo Yo Honey Singh. Overall the movie tried to entertain the audience but if the story would have done certain experiments, surely it would have done better.
