Early Life

Raashi Khanna was born in Delhi on 30th November 1990. Her parents are Raj K Khanna and Sarita Khanna. She also has an elder brother named Raunaq Khanna. Raashi Khanna completed her schooling at St. Mark's Senior Secondary Public School, Delhi. She was very studious in her schooling days and wanted to study a lot in her life.

For graduation, Raashi Khanna completed her B.A. English Hons from Lady Shree Ram College, Delhi. When Raashi was in her schooling/graduation days she was aspiring to become an IAS officer. When she was in her career's early day Raashi Khanna had no plans to join the industry.

She was working with an advertisement company as a copywriter before Raashi Khanna joined the industry. But lesser she knew what plans fate has for her and thus she debuted in a Hindi film in the year 2013.

Acting Career

Raashi Khanna made her acting career’s debut with a political thriller Madras Café. This movie was directed by Shoojit Sircar. Unlike almost every other actor or actress’s first movie, this movie was praised by the critics. Not only critics but viewers enjoyed the movie as well. This could be made out since the movie collected more than 100 crores grosses. This was a great way to start Raashi Khanna’s career in acting.

Though to do justice to this role Raashi Khanna had to take several acting classes. But all the efforts didn't go in vain. Her role was so impressive in Madras café that it attracted roles in Telugu movies. At that time, she was offered many south films and she considered a few. The next Telugu which Raashi did was Oohalu Gusagusalade. The aforementioned movie opened the doors of a lot of positive reviews regarding her acting and skills.
