After the grand success of ‘Wonder Woman’ director, Patty Jenkins is all ready to serve its sequel “Wonder Woman 1984” starring Gal Gadot. With additional burden on the two this is hoped to be a massive hit too. Wonder Woman 1984 is scheduled to release in theatres in June 2020. Although there’s a lot of time in film’s release but the makers have already started revealing details about the flick and keeping fans guessing about what to expect. So far, from what the makers have revealed about the sequel “Wonder Woman 1984” is the fact that the movie will be set in 1980s.

Kristen Wiig will play the arch villain “Cheetah” and while there have been various iterations of the character. It will be interesting to see how Patty Jenkins and the makers sketch this particular character and it will be amazing to watch what will Wiig does with it.

In the movie, Pedro Pascal is going to play an undisclosed role. Despite nothing has been revealed about his character, this is making fans believe he could be a surprise villain. Patty Jenkins, had promised the sequel will have "unbelievable" new characters and a "great" love story. The new Wonder Woman film will also see Gal Gadot to reprise the title role.

In the previous lighter tone and vibrant chunk, most people imagined that Chris Pine’s died after his aircraft exploded in midair. However, viewers will see him in the promotional photo of the sequel. So, did he really die? Fans are guessing for time-travel in the sequel.

As always the sequel will bring a mix of the old and new, Jenkins shared, “I feel like it’s just the right amount the same world of Wonder Woman as the first movie while being completely different.” Being asked about the film Jenkins said "Because she is Wonder Woman and she’s here now and she’s fully developed, it’s got great fun from the start and presence of great big superhero from the start.”
