Top-billed South Superstar Nayanthara’s next is helmed by fame director Arivazhagan

Nayanthara is one of the top-billed female actors in Kollywood. She is among a few women who routinely do films which have her as the main character and they are a success at the box office as well. Nayanthara, who is extremely busy with back to back projects, will soon start shooting for a movie to be helmed by ‘Eeram’ and ‘Kuttram 23’ fame director Arivazhagan. Sources commented yet to be titled film was supposed to be produced by SP Cinemas, but the producer backed out. Since the director was not able to find a producer for the movie there were rumors that the film was dropped. Reports were rife that the project was shelved. Now, the news is coming that “A new producer has come forward to bankroll the project now and the shoot will start soon”.

Nayanthara has impressed everyone with her magnificent performance in “Aramm” a women-centric social drama. Hence thereafter her demand has gone up in recent times. So the offer of this filmmaker’s Arivazhagan untitled venture went to Nayanthara which was before offered to Manju Warrier earlier.

Nayanthara on the work front has films like “Imaikka Nodigal” and ‘Aramm 2’in her lap. Later this year, for the second time she will be teaming up with Sivakarthikeyan in the upcoming yet-untitled film, which will be directed by M Rajesh. She also awaits the release of Nelson Dhilipkumar directorial ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’.

This untitled project is a psychological action thriller and Nayanthara will be playing the protagonist in this film. The movie is all set in Chennai. Although the rest of the cast of the movie is yet to finalize, the director informs that he is currently scripting the film, and the “The pre-production work will take at least three months.

Recently the well-deserved actor was given an award for her overall excellence in the field of entertainment. The Kollywood’s Lady Superstar has already started shooting for director Sarjun KM’s forthcoming film, being bankrolled by KJR Studios. The ‘Billa’ star will begin work on ‘Thala’ Ajith Kumar-starred ‘Viswasam’, which is currently on his way. Nayanthara also has another bug in the pipeline ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ starring megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead.
