Kanne Kalaimane: Seenu Ramasamy Ready To Serve Udhayanidhi and Tamannaah Together
'Kanne Kalaimane': marks the second time collaboration of Tamannaah with Seenu Ramasamy
National Award-winning filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy is ready to cast Tamannaah Bhatia and Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead roles, in his new directorial venture ‘Kanne Kalaimane’. The film stars actors Tamannaah and Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead roles. Udhay’s Red Giant Movies is bankrolling the film and music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja while Vairamuthu will be going to pen the lyrics. The story reveals the importance of agriculture and male lead role Udhayanidhi plays a character who has completed his agriculture course.
Tamannaah Bhatia is going shed her glamorous avatar and will be seen in all together new get-up for the film. She is going to be seen as a traditional married woman in the new undertaking. While the male lead Udhayanidhi Stalin, on the other hand, comes across as a guy next door. This is the first time super gorgeous Tamannaah is sharing screen with Udhayanidhi. The first look poster of Kanne Kalaimaane,is already out. Talking about the poster on Twitter, Tamannaah wrote, “And here goes the poster for my next Kanne Kalaimanne.” Poster says Tamannaah will reportedly be playing the role of a bank manager and Udhay plays the role of a farmer.
Seenu Ramasamy had earlier mentioned that the title of the film was a tribute to his mentor late filmmaker Balu Mahendra. The title is named after the famous song from Balu’s film Moondram Pirai (Sadma). In an interview the director Seenu Ramasamy said, “It is a romance-based film that talks about humanism”. The story is set in Chozhavanthan near Madurai. The actor-producer Udhayanidhi had initiated the shooting of the film by performing pooja in Madurai. The movie is expected to release this summer and the entire team is working hard to complete the movie in short span of time.
Although Udhayanidhi and Seenu Ramasamy are joining hands for the first time but the movie marks the second time collaboration of Baahubali star Tamannaah with director Seenu Ramasamy, after “Dharma Durai”, which had Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role.
Along with Udhayanidhi and Tamannaah, Kanne Kalaimaane’ also stars Vadivukkarasi, Shaji Chen and Vasundhara Kashyap in supporting roles.
