Sajid Khan reveals how his wife donated a kidney to Wajid

Sajid Khan shared how his wife secretly did all the test related to kidney transplant.

“At that time, none of our family members tried to help us. We had money, name, fame, and we went to the best doctors, but we couldn't get the right match of the kidney.” This is said by Sajid Khan on the stage of "Indian Pro Music League “when he was telling about the time he and his family faced to get the kidney for his late Wajid.

In a special episode, which was dedicated to the Wajid, his brother Sajid who is also a captain of one of the team-Delhi Jammers- accompanied by his mother and wife Lubna.

In all the talk, Sajid khan's mother Razine shared that how Lubna without telling anyone did all the test related to the kidney transplant and gave him the kidney.

Lubna also said "When I heard that someone else can also donate him a kidney, I didn't ask anyone. I just got all the tests done. Before the last test, I told Wajid everything and told him that if we're a match, we'll go for a transplant. He was very upset, but I told him, 'you're very important to me, and that left him speechless. The person who has always stood by everyone, if his family doesn't stand by him in his time of need, then it is very shameful. Thankfully, we were a match. Sajid, my mother, and my children were very supportive.".

Wajid died in the June of last year. He went for a kidney transplant in 2019. Last year, due to complication of a kidney infected he died.

Sajid-Wajid first composed the music for Salman Khan's film Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya in 1998. Wajid Khan sang tracks such as Mera He Jalwa, Fevicol Se, Chinta Ta Chita Chita, Mashallah, etc.
