Actor Ranveer Singh recently posted on his Instagram about his collaboration with Anil Kapoor. Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor soon will be seen in the movie Takht made by Karan Johar.
With sharing the post on social media, Ranveer Singh didn’t tell about the name or anything about the project. He just wanted to tell how much he was happy to meet his idol.
Ranveer Singh wrote in his post that he can’t express the gratitude, the pride, the utter delight & sheer joy, to collaborate with one of his most admired screen idols.
He also added that he deeply cherished the bond he and Anil Kapoor share. Giving respect and words to his heart about Anil Kapoor, he wrote that Anil Kapoor is one-of-a-kind. Giant of a performer. Legend of an artist. One of Hindi cinema’s finest.

According to the source, the movie Takht will be a period drama. In the movie, many big stars will play the roles such as Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. The sources also revealed that Ranveer will play the role of Dara Shikoh, while Anil Kapoor may play the role of Aurangzeb's father, Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.
Before this upcoming project, Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor had become father-son for the movie Dil Dhadkane Do.
Right now, Ranveer Singh is busy with many of his projects such as Cirkus, Jayeshbhai, Jordaar, and ‘83’ in which Ranveer will play the role of cricketer Kapil Dev.
