Rani mukherji is playing a role of a courageous and committed Superintendent of Police named Shivani Shivaji Roy. She attempts to chase and fight against a young and remorseless serial killer who is raping and murdering young women. The film also address about the dangerous social issue of various rape cases taking place in India which are being committed by juveniles.
