The Mammoth Donation of $ 1 Million to Black Lives Matter movement by BTS along with Big Hit Entertainment
The Most Popular band BTS along with Big Hit Entertainment, their document label, have donated $ 1 Million to Black Lives Matter Foundation.
Few days after standing together against racism and violence, a great initiative came from the South Korean pop sensation BTS along with their file label Big Hit Entertainment. They have donated a massive amount of USD 1 Million to the Black Lives Matter.
International human rights campaign, Black Live Matter aroused from the African-American community, which campaigns in opposition to violence and systemic racism in the direction of black people and holds protests against police brutality and border issues.
“Black people around the world are in pain at this second from the trauma of centuries of oppression," said Kailee Scales, Managing Director of Black Lives Matter.
The most popular and sensational South Korean, K-pop band featuring Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, Jimin and Jungkook went live on Twitter to support the protest initiated after the death of African American man in police custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota (US).
George Floyd, died on May 25 after a white policeman restricted him on his neck for about 8 minutes. The officer, Derek Chauvin them has been arrested and charged with manslaughter and murder.
South Korean BTS also stand strongly against discrimination and violence. They took their social media account to express that everyone have the right to be respected and we will stand together.
After receiving whopping donations of millions of dollars from other prominent musicians such as Warner Music Group and Kanye West and the Weeknd, Kailee Scales, Managing Director of Black Lives Matter is moved by the generosity of all the musicians all around the globe who stand unitedly with us to fight for the Black folks.
