To face the situation of sexual harassment Anna Ben says that she was stunned at that time.
Where women are trying very hard to eradicate every barrier with orthodox mentally and achieving success as well as a good life for own, there are some issues such as misbehaving, sexual harassment, which they have to deal with first before stepping out from their home to do something in their life. whether they are ordinary or a celebrity every girl need to know how to tackle these issues.
Me too movement is a perfect example to tell that how much and the way many celebrities women faces sexual harassment and how much difficulties they face, apart from this fact they are a celebrity and many people like them and listen to them.
Something like this has happened with Malayalam actress Anna Ben who spoke over the incident that occurred to her when she went to a shopping mall for groceries shopping with her mother, sister, and brother.
Anna wrote on Instagram that there was enough space available to walk or barely any crowd at that time, two men walked near her and from them, one touched her back which left her in shock. Although it didn’t seem right still, Anna first thought that this might happened accidentally but when her sister who was standing far from her and had watched everything happened there came near to her and asked whether she was alright. This realised her that the incident was not accidental but intentional.
Again when Anna and her sister heading to the billing section, these two men came near to her and asked in which films she has worked. Anna told them “mind their own business and get lost”. When they noticed that her mother was coming then they went from there.
But this incident made her uncomfortable and she only was thinking that “I can think of a thousand things I could have told them and a hundred things I could have done.” So she wrote to social media to shared her experience. And also appeal to women that “I hope you have the courage to give a tight slap on the face of such men.”
