The announcement of the movie Durgavati was earlier made by Akshay Kumar and this time the actress on the lead role Bhumi Pednekar took her social media account to share the first look of the movie. The movie is much-awaited thriller movie that is supposed to the remake of Anushka Shetty’ Tamil film Bhagamathie. However, the makers have not yet confirmed the same. G Ashok is directing the movie while producers are Bhushan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra. Akshay is the presenter of the movie.

The movie is expected to be in the air at the end of this year. The release date has been confirmed by the makers on December 11, 2020. The platform will be Amazon Prime. Choosing the live streaming one is the smart move of the makers as even though theatres will be opened in major parts, still it is expected that audience may not visit the theatres at large level due to Coronavirus pandemic.
