Prabhas is the well-known name not only in Tollywood’s but all over the world for his outstanding acting talent. Although he was working in many of the films but one of the blockbuster movie Baahubali gave him a big name and fame in the Indian film industry and with this the actor was no doubt at the top of the chart. He is an international hero and having a good fan following after Baahubali movie. If you are mad and crazy about him and wish to know some of the amazing facts, let’s discover them. 

1. What is the real name of Prabhas? 

You will be amazed to hear the real name of your favourite actor. His full name is Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati. Oh! Such a big name, but yes it’s his real name. His parents name is U Suryanarayana Raju and Siva Kumari and Chennai is his birthplace. He has two siblings and he is also the nephew of actor Uppalapati Krishnam Raju. Prabhas is well known as Rebel Star and he has received this title from his uncle Krishnam Raju. He received this name due to his unique and his rebellious acting style. However, he is called by some nicknames also like Prabha, Pubsi and Mr Perfect.

2. Follows strict diet and physical training, still he is a food lover

He works hard for his films and for his movie Baahubali, he went under strict diet for three years. He had strict training and workout schedules to get that great look and shape for the movie Baahubali. Gaining and losing weight is tough, still under rigorous manual labour, he managed it very appropriately with extensive training. During the movie Baahubali, he was trained by Lakshman Reddy who has won the title of Mr.World in the year 2010. For his character in Baahubali, he put on weight of about 100 kg to play the role of solider. He was on a strict diet during that period to maintain his physique. 

3. But in spite of that, he is a great food lover and especially of chicken biryani.  

His Favorite Food is biryani and during his diet period when he was given a break from the strict plan, his first preference used to be biryani. It was said that the actor had 15 different types of biryani during his breaks from the strict diet plans at the time of Baahubali.

Most of the Bollywood actors can be seen on social media, when they do charity, but unlike other actors, Prabhas is not seen doing that. His charity are never on social media, however, sources have confirmed that the actor donates lakhs of rupees every year. He even donated Rs.10 lakh for the blind school in Nalgonda and spends some time with the students over there. Such acts prove that he is a real hero who does kind acts not for popularity and publicity. 

5. Four years of Commitment to Baahubali

He was associated with the movie Baahubali for four years and during that period he did not signed any movie. With the two parts, he was fully committed and so dedicated that he did not have any dates to any other projects. These two movies of Prabhas took his career at hike and was most earning movie during that period. It was the director of the movie SS Rajamouli who gave such a golden opportunity to the actor and he proved it. 

The result was that he got global fame overnight with this movie. The movie touched Rs 1000 crore in just 10 days. The most interesting fact is that the three movies of the actor had a total budget of Rs. 800 crore that includes Baahubli 1, Baahubali 2 and Saaho.

6. His Favorite movies

The actor loves to watch Bollywood movies. His favourite movies are Munna Bhai MBBS and 3 Idiots. He has watched these movies more than 20 times. He love movies made by Rajkumar Hirani. Telugu film is Bhakta Kannappa is his all-time favourite movie that has his uncle Krishnam Raju and it released in 1976. In Hollywood, he is a fan of actor Robert De Niro.

7. His Favorite Game

It is said that the actor loves to play Volleyball. During the preparation of his role in Baahubali, he used to play this game as a part of exercise and slowly he loved this game so much that, he built a court in his home so that he play it as and when he wants.

8. His Friend circle

He has many friends much to mention few very close to him and his best buddies are Gopichand and Allu Arjun. After the movie Baahubali, Rana also was included in his list. 

9. The Education Qualification

Although education is not of much relevance in our film industry; still you will be surprised to know that he is an engineering student and he never neglected his education. He has passed from DNR School in Bhimavaram and done intermediate from Sri Chaitanya Jr. College in Hyderabad.

10. Not just for money

The actor is so strict and confidence about his two major movies that he does not even care about his fees for the both part of Baahubali. After going through the script he was so convinced that he instructed his manager to take anything that the makers offer for the movie and not to demand anything else. This is appreciable from just a top actor. 

Meanwhile, at this period he even rejected the offer of 5.5 Cr for a fitness brand endorsement.
