This prequel series will be based on how house Targaryen conquered westeros with the help of dragons in the past times. Now, HBO has formally announced its series order for a Game of Thrones prequel show. A prequel set 5000 years before the events of Game of Thrones will air on HBO in the year 2020, which is created by Martin and Jane Goldman. This period saw the creation of the great Houses of Westeros. They were given the task of protecting the realm from the first White Walker attack.
