The game of thrones prequel House of the Dragon will depict about the rise of the house of Targaryen and its supremacy around 300 years before the happening of Targaryen civil war. This prequel series will be based on how house Targaryen conquered westeros with the help of dragons in the past times. Now, HBO has formally announced its series order for a Game of Thrones prequel show. A prequel set 5000 years before the events of Game of Thrones will air on HBO in the year 2020, which is created by Martin and Jane Goldman. This period saw the creation of the great Houses of Westeros. They were given the task of protecting the realm from the first White Walker attack.

About the Game of Thrones prequel

At the name describes House of The Dragon is based and revolves around the history of House Targaryen, the family that game us Daenerys Targaryen. The series "is set 300 years before the events of the flagship series that tracks the beginnings and the end of House Targaryen."It is also assumed that it will be featured with new characters, along with a complete new performances and new era. It is still not confirmed that the Mother of Dragons (Emilia Clarke) and Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa) will be the part of new series. 

 

The release date, yet awaited

 

It has come to notice that HBO Max has taken up the launch in the month of May 2020, but the specific release date for House of The Dragon is yet to be announced. It is also not known where the show shall be releasing first. Its Trailer is yet to be released. Just the announcement has made it one of the top stories in every news show.
