The Novel Coronavirus is now breaking out the borders of many countries and has reached to so many regions around the world. The outbreak has also taken a huge toll on the Tollywood industry as all the malls & theatres are closed for now due to the lockdown declared by the Indian government. With the shootings being put to hold & the daily wages workers are now in big trouble. Some of the movie stars of the Tollywood also come in front to give further assistance to the film industry & showcase their humanity.

These are the Tollywood celebrities who are coming in front to give full support to the needy persons by some contribution towards the PM-cares and other related funds.

Pawan Kalyan

The superstar of the South Indian cinema, Pawan Kalyan contributed the sum of Rs 2 crore to fight against the coronavirus outbreak. The superstar donated around 50 lakh to each, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana government’s relief funds. Apart from that, he also contributed a sum of Rs 1 crore for the PM’s cares fund in this lockdown period.

Allu Arjun

He has donated around 1 crore 25 lakhs for the people of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Kerala. He wrote that, the pandemic created many lives of the daily wages workers in danger & further disrupted many lives.

Mahesh Babu

Superstar has urged citizens to crucially follow lockdown & requested them to donate for the good cause. He has donated around 1 crore to the CM relief fund of the state government of AP & Telangana.

The lockdown situation in the country is worsening & it is the humble request to all the citizens of India to follow the guidelines given by the government by breaking the chain of coronavirus pandemic.

Nithiin (Nitin Kumar Reddy)

The famous Telugu actor & who has recently given marvellous performance in his movie Bheeshma, Mr Nithiin has donated the sum Rs 10 lakh to each relief fund of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana government to fight with the outbreak.

Saravanan Sivakumar & Karthi

The T-town actors Suriya together with his brother Karthi have donated around 10 lakh to the film employees federation of the South India (FEFSI) for the persons who have lost their loved ones in this pandemic.

Rajinikanth (Shivaji Rao Gaekwad)

The south superstar Thalaiva Rajinikanth has announced to donate the sum of Rs 50 lakh that will be equal to the 25% of the money request by the FEFSI’s president due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Prabhas

The darling of south India & Baahubali actor Prabhas was the latest among the many Telugu actors to donate for the Nobel cause to fight against the novel coronavirus. The actor has donated around 4 crore out of which 3 crore has been delivered to the PM’s relief fund & around 50 lakh each to the CM’s relief fund by the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana government respectively. Prabhas has been in self-quarantine after returning from the Georgia, where he was shooting for his next movie Prabhas-20 along with the Bollywood actress Pooja hedge.

Chiranjeevi (Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad)

Veteran actor took the practical decision about helping the needy ones by donating Rs 1 crore for the daily wage workers & low-income groups in TFI. Lockdown situation is for dealing with the outbreak in a best possible way, he further added.

Dr Rajasekhar 

He is often seen in the debate of many social issues Dr Rajasekhar has also been doing the charity work even at the age of 58. He is one of the actors who have been constantly supporting the people with his charitable trust for the betterment of many persons. He has decided to deliver day to day commodities to the needy ones of the industry.

Prakash Raj

Senior actor Prakash Raj, who have been always performing great efforts towards the social issues has taken major steps to help the employees of his production house, foundation, farms and stalled movies in this pandemic period. He has given by the salaries to the daily wages workers in advance till May month & request others to do the same.
