After delivering two back to back hits ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, Ali Abbas Zafar are all set to cast Salman Khan again for the third time for the forthcoming talkie ‘Bharat’. Having Salman in a movie is already an epic, but there’s a lot more to explore about ‘Bharat’. Basically the movie is an official adaptation of a South Korean film titled 'An Ode To My Father'. This story is about a man who gets separated from his family during the Korean War and propagates how he manages to reunite with them. This movie is produced by Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, The movie will also highlight the period during the India-Pakistan partition. ‘Bharat’ will show Salman Khan in lead role. During the phase of movie he will go through various chapters of history.
‘Bharat’ will show several significant moments from India's past to present. Every episode will require a different look. Salman, who hates prosthetics, has agreed to it just this once for the film. The 52-year-old actor will look leaner and much younger. The film is said to be shot in India as well as in various other locations in Europe. The director's team for their preliminary research is already in the Queen's City. The next location will be London, Spain, Poland, Portugal and Malta. This film is Salman Khan's ambitious and expensive production. This project was originally held by Kabir Khan and now this is no longer a part of his undertaking.
Reports are coming that Priyanka Chopra will be seen opposite to Salman Khan in ‘Bharat’. The stars will be collaborating with each other after a decade. She had revealed that she wanted to sign a film which would be perfect for her to come back with after a two-year long hiatus from Hindi cinema. Priyanka Chopra looks ‘Bharat’ as the perfect script as her comeback vehicle. Report says apart from Priyanka, Katrina too will be a part of this project.
'Bharat' will hit the screens on Eid 2019. Recently Ali tweeted "We are in full flow with pre-production of 'Bharat' the film. Lots of exciting news will come your way soon."
