Amitabh Bachchan arranges 3 flights to help migrant workers stuck in Mumbai to reach their Homes
Another initiative by Big B as he books special flights for migrant workers
The Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has once again won the hearts of people by arranging secret flights for the migrant workers who are struck at Mumbai to reach their homes to UP. He firstly, made an effort for arranging trains for the migrant workers, but somehow the things didn’t work and then he was successful for arranging means through air route.
The complete arrangement was under the direction and guidance of Mr Bachchan and the initiative was headed and organized by Rajesh Yadav, the managing director of Amitabh Bachchan Corp. Ltd. Through this arrangement, about 500 workers could reach their homes. The chartered flight took off from Mumbai this Wednesday and was routed to Allahabad, Gorakhpur and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
Many of the workers thanked the star and expressed their gratitude for helping them out to reach their home after being struck for such a long time in Mumbai and too on no cost. However, it has also been reported that he is also making efforts to arrange some more flights for the helping migrants to reach their homes to Bihar, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and other states.
Recently he also arranged 10 buses under the supervision of Mr Yadav, to send migrant workers and underprivileged families to their homes in UP, the native place from where he belongs. Also, he took the responsibility of feeding families of 100000 daily workers of the All India Film Employees Confederation.
No doubt, Bollywood stars are taking every bit of initiatives during this lockdown to help the migrant’s workers to reach their home town safely. Earlier Sonu Sood also has taken a commendable initiative in this noble work.
